ANTI-VIGNETTING (SHADING) ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment is to correct for shading differences that appear in the image.
Procedure
1. Verify the system is in the AUTO FLUORO mode with nothing in the beam path.
2. Set the Workstation Window to 80 and Level to 125.
3. While imaging, an unacceptable image similar to that shown in Figure 36 may
appear. This image indicates vignetting (shading around the periphery of the
image) and needs to be adjusted as described in step four. Otherwise, the image
may appear "flat" with no bright spots indicating this parameter does not need
adjustment (A slight overall brightness in the center of the image is acceptable). If
this is the case, proceed to step 5 to complete the camera alignment process.
