Resting along the sunset coast of Phuket island, the Anantara<br />
Layan Spa is known as “a sanctuary within a sanctuary”. This<br />
destination spa seeks to tailor treatments to an individual’s specific<br />

Your journey into the two and a half hour Layan Orchid Signature<br />
ritual starts with a floral foot bath. This is followed by a milky soak<br />
with a blanket of real purple royal orchids to soften skin. The bath<br />
is accompanied by a private tea service. Take your time and detox,<br />
de-stress and be delighted. The next stage is a traditional herbal<br />
compress massage that can be fully customised. There is a selection<br />
of Sweet, Smooth, Splash and Spice aromatic oil blends and a<br />
choice of ingredients to fill the compress pouch from healing<br />
sesame, hydrating almond, cleansing salt, mood uplifting kaffir lime<br />
peel and refreshing lemongrass. The ritual ends with refreshments to<br />
help ease you back into the rhythm of the day, readying you for the<br />
rest of your vacation.<br />
If you have more time on your hands, a Royal Thai Massage is<br />
highly recommended, as the skilled therapists are well trained in the<br />
1,000-year old acupressure techniques. A large selection of luxurious<br />
Elemis treatments are also available, with an extensive menu for both<br />
women and men. Families can ease their mind as children will not<br />
