The Society caught up with GerwynJones after the sale who said “I knewRambo was something special and Iam delighted that my first pedigreeregistered Limousin has sold soamazingly well.”Prior to the sale, Rambo wasdescribed by judge Patrick Greaneyof the Whiskey Limousin herd as thebest bull he had ever seen.At the pre-sale show, GraiggochRambo had been placed asintermediate and overall champion.Going back to some classicbloodlines of BroadmeadowsCannon, Broadmeadows Ainsi,Ronick Gains and Wilodge Vantastic,he is November 2020-born bull andby Ampertaine Elgin out of SarkleyGlorianne. In an intriguing backstory, Gerwyn Jones was offered theopportunity to flush a cow to a bullof his choice as a thank you for workcarried out in the Sarkley herd of EHPennie and Son, Powys. One embryoimplanted from this flush lead toGraiggoch Rambo.
