Moving around the Westcountry each year, Our AGM took
place on Sunday 25 th September at the Bell Inn, Lacock,
Wiltshire where the Herd Competition Judges kindly
joined us for lunch and to present the Herd Presentations
prizes.
The final trip to Brecon on Saturday 12 th November for
Killerton Soliver where he was placed Reserve Senior
Champion and sold to 6000gns and making a short
journey home to LLanddew new owners KE & C Price.
We then went over to Lackham College and Whitehall
Vineyard where we had a very interesting afternoon. Our

Lackham for inviting us.
In October, South West Chairman Patrick Greed retired
from his second four-year term. We thank Patrick for all
his hard work, support and enthusiasm for the Limousin
Breed here in the Westcountry. We welcome Garry Dunn
from the Highridge Herd as Chairman.

The Autumn Suckled Calf Sales we sponsored markets in
the Westcountry at Cutcombe, Exeter, Frome, Hallworthy
and Truro with top suckled calves sired by Mablys Hawk,
Sloughpool Neon, Columbpark Icracus, Furrydance Peter,
Lodge Hamlet, Moondharrig Knell, Cranscombe Jake,
Loyd PP, Tomschoice Onslow, Killerton Pipsqueak &
Bailea Erikthered.
On Wednesday November 2 nd , Agrifest South West took
place, kindly sponsored by the British Limousin Cattle
Society. The Limousins took the top honours of the day
going to Michael Kirby for his homebred heifer Dizzy
sired by Trueman Idol. The Limousins championed the
Pedigree Calf Classes with Foxhillfarm Touchofclass won
by Michael & Melanie Alford. After a successful showing
season with Killerton Soliver, Limousins were placed at
the top with the All Breeds Young Bull of the Year won by
Patrick & Sheila Greed.
