REGIONAL CLUBSSouth EastLimousin Cattle ClubThe South East Club reports....The South Eastern Club was well represented at ourregional shows during 2022.A very successful season for Ben Maskell and SarahLisney of Woodfield Limousins who took many titlesincluding reserve overall champion at Heathfield showwith Winfellpark Opalfruit and her calf Woodfield Turboat foot. Sam and Amy Drury of Cinderhill Limousins tookthe male title and Janet and Andrew Holt of Lidhamlimousins took the reserve male title. Opalfruit went onto be part of the Burke Trophy winning team at the Southof England show and champion at Edenbridge andOxted while Cinderhill Limousins won at the Kent Countyshow.The winter prime and fatstock shows were dominated byLimousins too. Turbo won reserve champion calf at theprime stock show at the South of England showgroundand A and J Holt took the reserve championship atHailsham fatstock show with a home bred lim crossheifer and best unhaltered animal.We had a lovely herd competition presentation day atThorndean Farm by kind permission of Sue and TimWatson of whom have since had a herd dispersal sale atAshford Market making good prices. The club will miss allthat Sue and Tim did for us and their quality cattle.We have also said good luck to Ben Maskell and SarahLisney with their new venture with A.
