ownership of S W G Davies and Son,

Little Farm.

A further two bulls sold for 4,000gns.

The first was Killerton Snapdragon

sold to E D Phillips, Glandwr Farm,

Abergavenny. The second was

Twemlows Sargentmajor who sold

for 4,000gns to W E & M V Gash,

Southleigh Farm, Swindon of the

Mirwil Pedigree Limouisn herd.

Reserve Champion Female Cowin

Seleri from Messrs W D D and C

James, Blaencowin, Carmarthenshire,

achieved top price female for the day

selling for 2,600gns. Born February

2021, Seleri has a Beef Value of

LM36 and is out of the homebred

cow Cowin Lena. Seleri is sired by

Plumtree Najinski who goes back to

the renowned cow Bankdale Amber.

She was snapped up by D E Lewis

and Co, Gwarcoed Eion, Llanybydder.

Auction hosted a

highly successful sale of

suckled calves and weanlings on

Thursday 17 th November. There

was an excellent presentation of

350 quality cattle to celebrate

this annual prize sale which is

sponsored by the British Limousin

Society. Prize money and rosettes

were awarded for the best

bunch of four or more Limousin

bred cattle, steers and heifers.

Presented with a difficult task,

classes were expertly judged by

Roger Egglestone of Nixons near

Cheadle.
