The Pedigree herd competition

judged in August by Walter and

Dawn Cruikshank of the Clury herd,

travelled around 1,200 miles to judge

the 22 Pedigree herds entered,

Richard Priestley of the Brontemoor

herd had 10 commercial herds to

visit in the North East area and it has

been agreed that this will become an

annual competition. Thank you goes

to committee member Keith Wilson

for organising the herd competition

judging.

In October the club held their AGM

meeting, which could be better

attended but without the committee

and members the club could not

continue so thank you for everyone’s

support.

On Friday 4 th November the annual

dinner and prize giving was held

at the Bridge Inn. The Champion

Pedigree herd once again was

retained by the Barrons herd of

Willy Barron and the Commercial
