The Pedigree herd competition
judged in August by Walter and
Dawn Cruikshank of the Clury herd,
travelled around 1,200 miles to judge
the 22 Pedigree herds entered,
Richard Priestley of the Brontemoor
herd had 10 commercial herds to
visit in the North East area and it has
been agreed that this will become an
annual competition. Thank you goes
to committee member Keith Wilson
for organising the herd competition
judging.
In October the club held their AGM
meeting, which could be better
attended but without the committee
and members the club could not
continue so thank you for everyone’s
support.
On Friday 4 th November the annual
dinner and prize giving was held
at the Bridge Inn. The Champion
Pedigree herd once again was
retained by the Barrons herd of
Willy Barron and the Commercial
