Introducing the BLCS Celebratory
As part of its
50 th Anniversary
Celebrations, and
initiated by Honorary President
Craig Ridley 2020 - 2022, the Society
is taking great pleasure in introducing the
British Limousin Cattle Society Hall of Fame.
This recognises the achievements of the livestock
men and woman that have positively impacted the
breed and contributed to its meteoric rise to prominence
in the UK over the past 50 years.

initiated the Hall of
Fame.
At the Society’s Anniversary Dinner in July 2022 the early entrants to
the Hall of Fame were announced and presented with commemorative
certificates. All past Society Chairmen had nominated an entrant prior
to this event. To ensure fair representation from across the society, Honorary
President at the time, Craig Ridley also nominated one entrant for each nation,
Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales.
Future nominations will come from all Honorary Presidents and Society Chairmen as they
end their posts.
Sincere congratulations to all those nominated, and to the families of those that have sadly passed. Their
contributions have been significant and have shaped the future of the Limousin breed in the UK.
