Q&A with the Chairman The TPA initiative is a pro-active measure by the Company in anticipation of the gas market liberalisation by the Malaysian Government. With TPA in place, the Company is ready to service new players. The Board of Directors is recommending a fi nal dividend of 35 sen per share. Together with the interim dividend of 15 sen per share paid out on 29 December 2010, total gross and net dividend for the fi nancial year ended 31 March 2011 will amount to 50 sen per share which represents a dividend payout ratio of 68.7%. In April 2010, the Company entered into the 4 th Addendum to the Gas Processing and Transmission Agreement (GPTA) with PETRONAS which provides a clearer demarcation of terms and remuneration structure between processing and transmission business. This demarcation paves the way for Third Party Access (TPA), allowing other parties besides PETRONAS to utilise the PGU gas pipeline system. During the year, the Company awarded the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissiong (EPCC) contract to the consortium of CTCI Corp. and the Contractual Service Agreement to the consortium of General Electric Power for the Kimanis Power Plant project. With this initiative, the Company has entered the independent power producing business and plans are underway for the Company to expand this business.
