Apart from the Chairmanship, the year in
review also saw a signifi cant change in the
Company’s Board membership. I would like to
express my sincere appreciation to two board
members who have left us – Y.Bhg. Datuk
Mohamad Azhar Osman Khairuddin and
Puan Farehana Hanapiah. I wish them only
the best in their future endeavours within the
PETRONAS Group. I would also like to welcome
the Board’s new members – Encik Rosli Boni,
Encik Mohammad Medan Abdullah and Encik
Ramlan Abdul Malek. I am confi dent that their
experience and expertise will augur well for
the Company.
I would also like to thank Mr. Lau Nai Tuang for
his precious contributions as PGB new Board
member since November 2009, who has now
ventured outside the PETRONAS Group.
I also wish to register my sincere appreciation
to Y.Bhg. Datuk Mohd Zain Abdul Majid
whom has ended his tenure as PGB’s
Board Audit Committee (BAC) member and
welcome En. Muri Muhammad as the new
BAC member.
In addition to that, I would also like to
express our appreciation to our Management
Committee member, Puan Liza Mustapha,
who has moved to other parts of the
PETRONAS Group and I wish her continued
success.
I am confi dent that the
Company’s employees, with their strong
drive and resilience, would be able to
propel PGB to greater heights in the
pursuit of our aspiration to be
“A World Class Gas and Utilities Company.”
I would also like to welcome three new
Management Committee members, Cik Karima
Mohd Noor, Encik Ahmad Nawawi Mohd
Yatim and Encik Wan Mohamad Wan Mustoffa
to the Company as well.
To our customers, business partners,
valued contractors, regulatory bodies
and agencies; and our parent company,
PETRONAS, thank you for the trust given to
PGB all these years. We pledge to continue
to give further benefi t and value to your
undivided trust in the years to come.
To our shareholders, thank you so much
for the faith and confi dence in us. We will
continue to strive in making your investment
value accretive.
On top of that, the Company could not have
done it without the invaluable guidance and
wise counsel of the distinguished Board of
Directors. We look forward to leverage on
your strengths, experience and expertise to
steer us in our growth journey.

The next few years will be an era of
invigorating growth driven by ambition to
maximize our potential. It will bring its fair
share of challenges, however, I am confi dent
that the Company’s employees, with their
strong drive and resilience, would be able to
propel PGB to greater heights in the pursuit of
our aspiration to be “A World Class Gas and
Utilities Company” and more importantly, to
live up to that reputation.
With a bowl of concerted effort; blended
with sound fi nancial and technical portfolios;
topped with innovative business and operating
approaches; and baked to perfection by
capable staff with blessings from the Almighty,
we will reach the desired state. It is already
within striking range – and the only possible
outcome for us at PGB is none other than to
strike. InsyaAllah.
