Q&A with the Chairman
Leveraging on our world class operations
and competent workforce, we want to grow
the Company not only domestically,
but also internationally. We intend to expand
our involvement in the power-producing
and regasifi cation business.
During the year under review, PGB was
accorded various awards and recognitions. The
Company was awarded the “2009 National
OSH Excellence Award” for Gas Utilities
category. The Company was also recognised
by Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety
and Health with eight awards. At PETRONAS
level, PGB once again received the Merit
Award in Sustainability Development category
for its success in conducting ‘Knowing TOD’
programme.
Q : We were made to understand that
PGB was also honoured with a number
of other awards?
PGB won the National Annual Corporate
Report Award (NACRA) 2010 for Best
Annual Report in the Industrial Products and
Technology category. We also gained a spot
in The Edge Billion Ringgit Club Award for
recording a turnover of more than RM1 billion
and was ranked 8th by the Asia Wall Street
Journal in the Top 10 Malaysian Companies
under its annual Asia 200 survey.

Q: What is your vision and outlook for
PGB in the near future?
Leveraging on our world class operations

internationally. We intend to expand our
involvement in the power-producing and
regasifi cation business.
Q: What is your message to our valued
stakeholders and staff?
I would like to take this opportunity to
express my sincere appreciation to all our
stakeholders, including the shareholders
and the Government, for their support and
confi dence in the Company. My special
appreciation also extends to the Board of
Directors for their guidance and counsel and
to the management and employees for their
professionalism and commitment.
