The Management of PGB is committed to
delivering strong earnings and achieving
sustainable long-term shareholders’ value
growth guided by the Company’s vision and
mission. Strategies executed and business
decisions made by the Management shall be
to the best interest of the shareholders and
guided by exemplary corporate governance
practice at all times.
PGB has achieved a profi t after tax of
RM1,439.1 million which is the highest in the
company’s history. On top of that, our growth
efforts through LNG regasifi cation facility in
Sungai Udang, Melaka and gas power plant in
Kimanis, Sabah will bring additional revenue
in the future.
With the company’s stellar performance,
growth efforts, coupled with the many
accolades received on good corporate
governance, the Management believes that
these are fundamental factors that will
contribute positively in maximising the
Company’s value in the capital markets.

At the company’s 27th Annual General Meeting
held on 22 July 2010, there was a healthy
engagement session between the Chairman
and the shareholders of the Company in which
many shareholders’ queries, concerns and
suggestions were brought up and addressed
by the Board of Directors.
PGB believes in educating its shareholders.
To that end, the Company had arranged a
series of shareholders visitation programs
on 18 October 2010, 22 November 2010
and 28 February 2011 to the Company’s
gas processing plants in Terengganu and
centralised utility facilities in Pahang.

OUR BUSINESS PARTNERS
The Company believes that strong support
from our business partners is vital to the
business. Through the annual Contractors
Forum, the Company continues to strengthen
its relationship with its suppliers. This is the
fi fth year the forum has been conducted with
the aim to improve effi ciency in supply chain
management to support our operations. The
forum promotes open discussion between the
Company and its suppliers in order to achieve
effective working relationship whereby during
the forum, both parties were able to openly
surface and discuss areas of improvement. The
forum was also used as a platform to recognise
suppliers who have excelled in their provision
of services and product delivery, or who
have demonstrated exemplary Health Safety
and Environment practice. This recognition
encourages the suppliers to provide the
highest quality of products and services at all
times and to improve their performance on a
continuous basis.
