Your child will have fun riding bikes, climbing and sliding or just playing
in the preschool kitchen area in this non-instructional free play time.
Parental supervision is required. Guarantee your space and save
money in this program by registering for the classes. Drop-in is $6.00
for 1 parent and 1 children (additional children $3.00 each) and is on a
first come first serve basis. Registered participants have priority in the

ready Set Learn

Location: Parkinson recreation Centre, Cherry room/Spartan room
A two day play school program designed to give your child a head
start on Kindergarten. The classes are created to promote social skills
and self esteem and also integrate academic activities such as letter
and number recognition. the combination of creative play and many
different learning concepts make this program a fun and educational
adventure. Participants will be in the spartan Room from 10:15-10:45
am for morning classes and 1:15-1:45 p.m for afternoon classes.
Please send a nutritious snack for your child. It is recommended that
participants register for both sessions. no spaces are reserved from the
first session to the second session. Registration is based on first come,
first serve basis. Drop-in is $12.00 if space available. All participants
must be toilet trained before they participate.

Silly Sing Along & Songs to
Tickle Your Funny Bone
instructor: Holly Harkness-Murray
Location: South Kelowna elementary, Multi-Purpose room
Children are introduced to traditional silly songs and camp songs. While
the children are singing they will have fun learning how to sing with
proper choral technique such as proper breathing and correct diction.
Holly is an elementary music specialist trained in orff and Kodaly.

Super Saturday Theme Parties

Location: Parkinson recreation Centre, Cherry room
A fast paced two-hour program that keeps your youngster occupied
with games, crafts, playtime, and many more fun filled activities.
Please provide your child with a healthy snack. every party revolves
around a different theme certain to capture your child’s imagination.
Participants are encouraged to dress up according to the weekly theme.
All children must be toilet trained before they can participate in this
program. theme Parties are not a parent participation class. Parents
are encouraged to leave their child during the program.

weekly themes, crafts and art projects, free play, simple number and
letter worksheets, songs, and story time. The opportunity to play in the
kid’s gym and the playground will add to the excitement of this daily
