rightsizing Workshop

Location: South Kelowna elementary, Kitchen
Getting rid of ‘stuff’ is an informative and humorous presentation
putting a positive focus on what can be an overwhelming task.
Downsizing focuses on the physical aspects of relocation - decluttering,
letting go and dealing with less. This workshop is presented
by Fran houston, owner of ‘Fran’s Moving Solutions for Seniors’. The
workshop will include topics such as: The upside to Rightsizing your
home and Possessions, The Right Sizing Approach, Getting the basics in
Order, honoring the best of the Past, Slice It Sort It Sow It, and ‘Letting
Go’ without Tears. This workshop is helpful to: those who want to declutter
and begin a process they keep putting off, seniors planning to
make a condo their retirement residence, a senior planning to move to
an assisted living facility or adult children who want to help transition
their parent/parents from one place to another.

on bidding theory, while putting the play of the hand into practice!

For those familiar with the fundamentals of bidding and those who wish
to improve their play, these lessons are designed to focus on play of
the hand techniques. While building your confidence on declarer play,
some popular bidding conventions will also be introduced. Participants

Clowning 101 - an introduction
to improvisation

Location: okanagan Mission Activity Centre
Would you like to experience how liberating wearing a red nose can be?
Come and discover the clown within in a safe workshop environment.
We will start with warm-up exercises and then get the chance to
explore our clown persona(s). Red noses as well as costumes and props
will be provided. Come and join the fun!

Join Heather for this introduction to crocheting class. Learn the basics
of crochet which include chain, single crochet and double crochet
stitches. Create a simple crocheted hat while crocheting in the round

Location: Kinsmen Fieldhouse Hall
the ability to express yourself through writing is critical to achieving
success in life, both for business and pleasure. This course will teach
you how to write more effectively through poetry and music as well as
direct instruction and discussion. You’ll discover how sharing writing
with others in a safe and cooperative environment can be helpful and
enjoyable. If you’re looking to improve your writing while having fun,
this is the class for you.
