who enjoy a good sing-a-long. the focus <strong>of</strong> the group<br />

is to encourage client and caregiver interaction while<br />

playing their own instruments such as guitars and<br />

banjo’s etc... bring along your instruments but a<br />

songbook with chord charts will be provided.<br />

Pickleball<br />

Location: Parkinson recreation Centre, Gym<br />

Pickleball is a net court game that uses light weight<br />

paddles and a plastic, perforated ball ‘ a slowed down<br />

version <strong>of</strong> tennis.’ this sport is easy to learn and is a<br />

valuable development aid in eye-hand coordination,<br />

exercise and gross motor skill training. While extremely<br />

fun for everyone this sport does require at least a<br />

moderate level <strong>of</strong> physical agility. Participants to wear<br />

shoes suitable for the Location: Parkinson <strong>Rec</strong>reation<br />

Centre,Gymnasium. All equipment is provided.<br />
