Come and experience how you can do cardio, resistance training, core<br />

work and balance training on one <strong>of</strong> the best training tools developed<br />

in the last 10 years. Regardless <strong>of</strong> age or fitness experience everybody<br />

will get something out <strong>of</strong> this class and will see a noticeable difference<br />

in your core strength. A stronger core means less back pain, better<br />

daily function and tighter abdominal muscles. Do not be intimidated by<br />

this dome shaped tool instead learn how to use it safely for a fitter you.<br />

mini-ball - all muscles get to ‘play’. Tone, flex and SWeAT! With Pilates<br />

focused cuing and great music - this is the fastest hour you will spend<br />

work to get overall results. No fancy choreography, lots <strong>of</strong> energy - you<br />

will hardly believe you are actually working out! use it or Lose it, you<br />

know you got to do it. Drop in fee is $8.50 if space available. Free class<br />

Core Strength and Stretch<br />

Location: Parkinson recreation Centre, Macintosh room<br />

improve your core strength and increase your flexibility to combat<br />

back pain and stiffness. The focus <strong>of</strong> this class will be strengthening<br />

abdominal and back muscles to improve torso stabilization and posture.<br />

in addition you will learn to improve your flexibility with a thorough<br />

stretch <strong>of</strong> chronically over tight muscle groups. All levels are welcome.<br />

Feel free to work at your own pace. Drop in fee $8.00 if space available.<br />

Are you in the Glenmore neighbourhood and wanting a convenient way<br />

to stay in shape? This class is great for beginners to moderate levels <strong>of</strong><br />

fitness. Maximize your calorie burn, sculpt lean muscle and enhance<br />

your cardio endurance all while having fun in a positive, motivating<br />

group setting. Circuit, drills, strength training and stretching are all<br />

part <strong>of</strong> this group training.<br />

High/Low Cardio Box<br />

Location: Kinsmen Fieldhouse Hall<br />

this class incorporates high/low cardio with boxing and martial arts<br />

moves (shadow boxing) to get the heart rate up. We will be kicking,<br />

kneeing, punching and dropping elbows followed by resistance<br />

training and core strengthening on the mat to firm & tone all muscle<br />

groups and winding down with a nice relaxing stretch. Modifications<br />

will be provided and all ability levels welcome. Drop in fee $8.50 if room<br />

available. No class Feb 11.<br />
