PacificSport Okanagan is a multi-sport training support centre for athletes and<br />
coaches. The <strong>Kelowna</strong>-based centre is connected to a network <strong>of</strong> five regional<br />
centres and three national campuses (CSC Pacific) across the province.<br />
The Okanagan Regional Sport Centre has developed a variety <strong>of</strong> sport services to meet the needs <strong>of</strong> athletes,<br />
coaches and volunteers within the region. Partnerships have been established with Municipalities and sport<br />
service providers to assist in the coordination and delivery <strong>of</strong> events and sport development programs.<br />
In <strong>Kelowna</strong>, PacificSport works as a partner within the Sport <strong>Kelowna</strong> team to provide sport development<br />

Foundational Movement - Running Mechanics<br />

2013 Community Sport Hero Awards<br />
The <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Kelowna</strong> and PacificSport are pleased to recognize the outstanding contributions <strong>of</strong> sport<br />
volunteers (coach/administrator) in our community, with the 2013 Community Sport hero Awards. This<br />
is your chance to nominate that special volunteer whose talent, dedication and generosity have helped<br />
make your sport experience extraordinary. Awards will be presented at the 2013 Community Sport<br />
heroes <strong>Rec</strong>eption, to be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013.<br />
