Notes The SPPA surveys conducted in 1982, 1992, and 2002, also conducted by the U.S. Census<br />

Bureau, serve as the points of comparison for the 2008 SPPA. The 2008 SPPA contains<br />

additional questions about Latin music and it features updated questions about Internet use.<br />

In addition, the 2008 survey asked about arts instruction provided for children in respondents’<br />

• Attendance at arts events and participation in arts activities<br />

Some of the cultural domains were Theatre, Dance, Street arts performances, Music<br />

events, Community arts & cultural events.<br />
