Eel Pie <strong>Boatyard</strong> originally formed part <strong>of</strong> Eel Pie Marine Centre. When the site burnt
down, the portion containing the dry dock element was sold <strong>of</strong>f by the site owner
(Henry Castell) and became Eel Pie <strong>Boatyard</strong>.
