Access arrangements (capacity, proximity to major roads): The site has access onto Plough Way (a local road) Comments (2000) The site is an important source <strong>of</strong> moorings on this stretch <strong>of</strong> the river. The site also has modern facilities and there is also land available for possible expansion. Comments (2007) The manager <strong>of</strong> the South Dock Marina stated that the numbers between surveys were relatively static and that actual numbers simply fluctuated depending on the size <strong>of</strong> the craft. They had changed the supplier <strong>of</strong> their maintenance contract since 2000 and this had resulted in an actual increase in employment numbers.
