39 Wherefore, Yisraelite brothers, seek to prophesy, and<br />

also forbid not to speak with diverse languages.<br />

40 Of course let all things be done decently and in order.<br />

Moreover, Yisraelite brothers, I declare to you the<br />

Besorah which I proclaimed to you, which also you have<br />

received, and in which you stand;<br />

2 By which also you are saved, if you keep in memory<br />

what I proclaimed to you, unless you have believed in<br />

vain.<br />

3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also<br />

received, how that Moshiach died for our sins according<br />

to the Keetvay HaKadosh;<br />

4 And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third<br />

day according to the Keetvay HaKadosh: 5936<br />

5 And that He was seen of Kepha, then of the twelve:<br />

6 After that, more than five hundred Yisraelite brothers<br />

saw Him at once; of whom a great many remain alive, but<br />

some are dead.<br />

7 After that, He was seen by Yaakov; then of all the<br />

shlichim.<br />

8 And last of all He was seen by me also, ignorant and<br />

imperfectly trained as I was.<br />

9 For I am the least of the shlichim, that am not even fit to<br />

be called a sholiach, because I persecuted the Yisraelite<br />

congregation of tvkt.<br />

10 But by the unmerited favor of vuvh today I am what I<br />

am: and His unmerited favor that was showered upon me<br />

was not in vain; but I labored even more abundantly than<br />

them: yet not I, but the unmerited favor of vuvh which<br />

was in me.<br />

11 Therefore whether it was I, or they; so we proclaimed,<br />

and so you believed.<br />

12 Now if Moshiach is proclaimed that He rose from the<br />

dead, how say some among you that there is no<br />

resurrection of the dead?<br />

13 But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then is<br />

Moshiach not risen:<br />

14 And if Moshiach has not risen, then is our proclaiming<br />

in vain, and your emunah is also in vain.<br />

15 Yes, and worse than that we are found to be false<br />

witnesses of vuvh; because we have testified about vuvh<br />

that He raised up Moshiach: whom He did not raise up, if<br />

it be that the dead rise not.<br />

16 For if the dead rise not, then Moshiach is not raised:<br />

17 And if Moshiach is not raised, your emunah is in vain;<br />

you are still in your sins.<br />

18 Then those also who died with emunah in Moshiach<br />

have perished.<br />

19 If for this chayim only we have tikvah in Moshiach,<br />

we are of all men most miserable.<br />

20 But now is Moshiach risen from the dead, and become<br />

21 For since by man came death, by Man came also the<br />

resurrection of the dead.<br />

22 For as in Ahdahm all die, even so in Moshiach shall all<br />

be made alive.<br />

23 But every man in his own order: Moshiach the Bikkur;<br />

afterwards they that are Moshiach’s at His coming.<br />

24 Then comes the end of the olam hazeh, when He shall<br />

have delivered up the malchut to vuvh, even Abba; when<br />

He shall have put down all rule and all authority and<br />

power.<br />

25 For He must reign, until He has put all enemies under<br />

His feet.<br />

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.<br />

27 For He has put all things under His feet. But when He<br />

says, all things are put under Him, it is clear that the One<br />

who did put all things under Him, Abba Himself, is<br />

excluded. 5938<br />

28 And when all things shall be subdued under Him, then<br />

shall the Son also Himself be subject to Abba that put all<br />

things under Him, so that vuvh may be all in all. 5939<br />

29 Otherwise what shall they do who are immersed for<br />

the dead, if the dead rise not at all? Why are they then<br />

immersed for the dead? 5940<br />

30 And why do we stand in jeopardy every hour?<br />

31 I affirm by my boasting over you that I have in<br />

Moshiach gauvh our Master, I die daily.<br />

32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at<br />

Ephsiyah, 5941 what advantage is it to me, if the dead rise<br />

not? Let us eat and drink; for tomorrow we die.<br />

33 Be not deceived: evil company corrupts tov manners<br />

and habits.<br />

34 Awake to tzedakah, and sin not; for some have not the<br />

da’at of tvkt: I speak this to your shame.<br />

35 But someone will say, How are the dead raised up?<br />

And with what body do they come?<br />

36 You fool, that which you sow is not made alive, except<br />

it die:<br />

37 And that which you sow, you sow not the body that<br />

shall be, but the bare grain, that it may by chance result in<br />

wheat, barley, or even some other grain:<br />

38 But tvkt gives it a body as it has pleased Him, and to<br />

every zera its own body.<br />

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of<br />

flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes,<br />

and another of birds.<br />

40 There are also heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but<br />

the tifereth of the heavenly is one kind, and the tifereth of<br />

the earthly is another kind.<br />

41 There is one tifereth of the sun, and another tifereth of<br />

the moon, and another tifereth of the cochavim: for one<br />

cochav differs from another cochav in tifereth.<br />

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in<br />

corruption; it is raised in incorruption:<br />

43 It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in tifereth: it is sown<br />

in weakness; it is raised in power:<br />

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body.<br />

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.<br />

45 And so it is written, The first man Ahdahm was made<br />

a living being; the last Ahdahm was made a chayim<br />

giving Ruach.<br />

46 But the spiritual Ahdahm was not first, but the natural<br />

Ahdahm; and afterwards the spiritual One.<br />

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second Man is<br />

the Master vuvh from the shamayim.<br />

48 As is the earthy, so also are those that are earthy: and<br />

as is the heavenly, so also are those that are heavenly.<br />

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy one, we<br />

shall also bear the image of the heavenly One.
