proclaimed annually by the High Priest’s waving of two leavened loaves before YHWH, as the firstfruits of Shavuot
symbolizing the restoration and regathering of Yisrael’s two houses, by the hands and work of the High Priest.

The two houses of Yisrael are so fresh and uppermost in YHWH’s heart that He made sure the people understood
that they would be continually renewed through the years. The changing of the Bread of His Presence, displayed
that all Yisrael stays fresh in His presence, as they enter into His Shabbat rest. Therefore the Shabbat was appointed
as the day of refreshing, as there remains therefore rest to Yisrael according to Hebrews 4:9.
