6. The NGO Forum hosted the regular
quarterly meeting with Ms Ameerah
Haq, UNMIT SRSG, and members of
the NGO Forum at the NGO Forum
building. The UNPOL Police
Commissioner, the Chief of Staff and
Chiefs or Acting Chiefs of
Administrative Services, Democratic
Governance Support Unit, UNEST
and the Human Rights & Transitional
Justice Section joined the meeting.
Issues included the role of civil society
in civic education for the coming
elections, UNMIT‘s preparations for
security during the 2012 election
period, the process for transition of
the UNMIT mandate after the closure
of UNMIT, and how civil society can
access assets and equipment from
UNMIT when its mandate is finished.
Approximately 50 NGO Forum
members participated in the two-hour
meeting;

6. A FONGTIL organizou a reunião
trimestral com a Sr a . Ameerah Haq, a
RSSG da UNMIT, e os membros da
FONGTIL, no Edifício da FONGTIL. Na
reunião participaram o Comissário da
UNPOL, o Chefe dos Funcionários eos
Chefes os Chefes em Exercício dos
Serviços Administrativos, Unidade de
Apoio à Governação Democrática,
UNEST, Direitos Humanos e a Secção
de Justiça Transicional. Entre os
assuntos discutidos referiu-se o papel da
sociedade civil na Educação Cívica em
relação às futuras eleições, a
preparação da UNMIT para garantir a
segurança durante o periodo de eleitoral
em 2012; o processo de transição do
mandato da UNMIT depois do seu
encerramento e como a sociedade civil
pode aceder aos bens e equipamentos
da UNMIT quando o seu mandato
terminar. Aproximadamente, 50
membros da FONGTIL participaram na
reunião que teve a duração de duas
horas;

7. A FONGTIL preparou a formação de
Reflexão sobre Monitorização e
Avaliação (Formação a nível distrital)
nas Instalações da HDI em Gleno,
Distrito de Ermera, 20 pessoas
participaram na formação (5 mulheres e
15 homens);
25 a 26 de Janeiro de 2012
8. A FONGTIL preparou a formação de
Reflexão sobre Monitorização e
Avaliação (Formação a nível distrital)
