52 According to the Art. 11 of the UNTAET Regulation 2001/18 on the Organization of the Courts in East -Timor, any criminal matter at the<br />
Court of Appeal that carries a penalty of imprisonment exceeding five years shall be heard by a panel of three judges. Thus, one judge from<br />
District Courts will be appointed by the Presi<strong>de</strong>nt of the Court of Appeal to join the panel on that specific case.<br />
De acordo com o Art.11 da Regulação n. 2001/18 da UNTAET em relação à Organização dos Tribunais em Timor-Leste qualquer questão<br />
criminal no Tribunal <strong>de</strong> Recurso que abrange a penalização <strong>de</strong> prisão que exceda cinco anos <strong>de</strong>ve <strong>de</strong> ser ouvida por um painel <strong>de</strong> trees<br />
Juizes. Porém, um Juiz dos Tribunais <strong>de</strong> Distrito sera nomeado pelo Presi<strong>de</strong>nte do Tribunal <strong>de</strong> Recurso para se juntar ao painel daquele caso<br />
específico.<br />
