152 LES PHLÉBOTOMES DE LA RÉGION ÉTHIOPIENNE Diagnose : Même type de pharynx que ceux de P. caffraricus et P. meeseri (fig. 64 C). Cette espèce s’en distingue par le nombre très réduit (6) de ses dents cibariales. Description en partie d’après De Meillon. Taille = 2,8 mm. Patte ostérieure = 3,04 mm. Antenne, segment III = 0,17 mm ; rapport AIII/E: 0,85. III = IV + V ; formule antermaire : 2 7 III-XV. Palpe, formule : l-2-3-4-5. Cibarium armé d’une rangée irréguliére de 7-9 dents triangulaires. Pas de plage pigmentée. Labre-épipharynx = 0,20 mm. Aile, longueur = 2 mm; largeur = 0,50 mm; indice alaire = 0,l. Spermathèques annelées de 0,048 x 0,032 mm, avec environ 8 anneaux. PHLEBOTOMUS (SERGENTOMYIA) CHOUMARAI ABONNENC Arch. Inst. Pasteur Algérie., 1960, 38 (3), 406-414 Localité type : Shamah Aleh (§omaliland), 1 mâle capturé en juillet 1959 dans un trou terreux (Dr Choumara). L’holotype est conservé dans les collections de l’Institut Pasteur d’Algérie à Alger. Matériel examiné : Matériel type. Diagnose : Voisine de P. thomsoni, cette espèce, dont le mâle seul est connu, s’en distingue par une plage pigmentée petite, grossièrement elliptique, ne couvrant qu’une douzaine de dents médianes. Mâle (fig. 70 A-B-D). Taille = 2,68 mm. Epipharynx = 0,25 mm. Pu@e, longueur totale - 1 mm ; formule : l-2-345 ; longueur de chaque segment, du le= au 5e : 1 - 4,l - 5,l - 6,7 - 9,9. Cibarium armé d’une rangée de 32 dents disposées en palissade-; les latérales sont plus petites, plus serrées et dirigées légèrement vers Je centre. Une deuxième rangée antérieure de dentrcules punctiformes est difficrlement visible. Plage pigmentée petite, elliptique. Pharynx postérieur en forme de verre de lampe avec quelques fins denticules sur sa partie postérieure rétrécie. Génitulia, coxite = 0,30 mm; style = 0,15 mm, portant 4 épines dont 2 sont terminales et les 2 autres préapicales. Paramère terminé en bec de corbin = 0,22 mm. Lobe latéral = 0,27 mm. Fourreau pénien efhlé et très aigu à son extrémité. Pompe génitale = 0,13 mm ; filaments génitaux longs (= 0,56 mm). Rapport FG/PG = 4,3. Répartition géographique : Somaliland. PHLEBOTOMUS (SERGENTOMYIA) CHRISTOPHERSI SINTOlaT Trans. Roy. Soc. Trop. Med. Hyg., 1927, 21 (l), 5-7 Localité type : Lahore, Punjab (Indes) ; prison centrale, août 1923. Matériel examiné: : 9 mâles et 6 femelles du Tibesti et 6 mâles et 6 femelles de Guinée. Diagnose : Mâle à fourreaux péniens coniques courts et pointus ; cibarium armé de 2-4 dents principales courtes et fortes et de petits denticules additionnels disposés sans ordre en avant ou en arrière des dents principales (fig. 65) ; aile avec delta fortement négatif. Cibarium de la femelle armé de 4-5 dents fortes et aiguës dans les intervalles desquelles on peut distinguer souvent 4-5 séries de fins denticules. Spécimen type : D’après Sinton. Mâle. Taille = 2,7 mm. Patte postérieure = 2,7 mm. Antenne, segment III = 0,15 mm; III < IV + V. Formule antennaire: l/III-XV. PaZpe, longueur totale = 0,650 mm. Formule: ‘-24-3-5. Plage pigmentée en forme de carotte. Aile, longueur = 1,50 mm ; largeur = 0,35 mm. Rapport : Jongueur/Jargeur = 4,25 ; indice alaire = 0,52 ; delta = - 0,014 mm. GénitlrEo. coxite = 0,24 mm; style = 0,114 mm. Puramère = 0,204 mm ; lobe latéral = 0,264 mm.
