28 Médecine à l’acte/médecine au forfait – ANNEXES KCE Reports 85 S aux personnes âgées de 18 à 49 ans pour exclure les enfants et minimiser l’inclusion de personnes souffrant non pas d’asthme, mais de BPCO. Pour valider ce critère d’inclusion, les auteurs ont mené une étude pilote à l’aide d’une base de données automatisée de 16 MG contenant l’information sur les indications et sur les drogues prescrites. Dans cette étude pilote, tous les patients de 18 à 49 ans recevant une ou plusieurs médications anti-asthmatique ont été inclus. Parmi ces patients : 66 % étaient asthmatiques. Les autres patients avaient ces diagnostics : dyspnée (5%), bronchite aigüe (7%), BPCO (5%), rhinite allergique (4%) et pas de diagnostic enregistré (4%). Si on considérait uniquement les patients recevant des bronchodilatateurs oraux, 69% des patients étaient asthmatiques. Parmi les patients recevant une combinaison de bronchodilatateurs inhalés et de corticostéroïdes inhalés, 85% étaient asthmatiques.
