Partie C : Résultats – Chapitre C-IChapitre C-I : Effet <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s <strong>sur</strong> la croissance <strong>de</strong> Lantana camara et <strong>sur</strong> laphytoextraction du PbDans le cadre <strong>de</strong> cette thèse, une expérimentation en pots a été menée <strong>sur</strong> le terrain(HCMV - Vietnam) avec une <strong>plante</strong> hyperaccumulatrice (Lantana camara L.) (Diep, 2003) etun <strong>ver</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>terre</strong> (Pontoscolex corethrurus) dans un sol contaminé par l’ajout d’une solution <strong>de</strong>Pb à <strong>de</strong>ux concentrations <strong>de</strong> 500 et 1000 mg.kg -1 . Le suivi du <strong>ver</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>terre</strong>, la croissance <strong>de</strong> la<strong>plante</strong>, <strong>les</strong> teneurs en métaux <strong>lourds</strong> <strong>de</strong> ses parties végétatives et racinaires ont été suivies aucours du temps en fonction <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> différentes situations expérimenta<strong>les</strong>.A/ Pontoscolex corethrurustel-00486649, <strong>ver</strong>sion 1 - 26 May 2010A.1 SurvieDeux durées d’expérimentations ont été testées : un et <strong>de</strong>ux mois. Lors <strong>de</strong> la mise enplace <strong>de</strong> l’expérimentation, dix <strong>ver</strong>s <strong>de</strong> <strong>terre</strong> sont placés dans chaque pot. A la fin <strong>de</strong>l’expérimentation, <strong>les</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s <strong>sur</strong>vivants ont été comptés et pesés. Une mortalité importante(> 50%) <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s a été observée au bout <strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>ux mois, c’est pourquoi nos analyses n’ont portéque <strong>sur</strong> l’expérimentation d’un mois.Au bout d’un mois, le taux moyen <strong>de</strong> <strong>sur</strong>vie du <strong>ver</strong> est <strong>de</strong> 88% (Tableau 7). Il n’existeaucune différence significative entre <strong>les</strong> expérimentations sans <strong>plante</strong> avec ou sans plomb.Ceci indique que le <strong>ver</strong> <strong>de</strong> <strong>terre</strong>, Pontoscolex corethrurus résiste sans symptôme visibled’intoxication aux <strong>de</strong>ux taux <strong>de</strong> contamination par le plomb à savoir 500 mg.kg -1 et 1000mg.kg -1 . Partie C : Résultats – Chapitre C-IA.2 Production <strong>de</strong> structures biogéniques turricu<strong>les</strong>L’activité <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s se traduit au niveau du sol par la production <strong>de</strong> structuresbiogéniques, <strong>de</strong> turricu<strong>les</strong>, épigés ou hypogés, et <strong>de</strong> galeries. L’importance <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> structuresproduites permet d’une part d’estimer la « bonne santé » <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s <strong>de</strong> <strong>terre</strong>, d’autre part, cesstructures étant le siège d’une forte activité microbienne, leur importance influe <strong>sur</strong> l’activitébiologique du sol (Lavelle, 1988 ; Lavelle et Spain, 2001).A la fin <strong>de</strong> l’expérimentation, <strong>les</strong> structures biogéniques produites par <strong>les</strong> <strong>plante</strong>s et <strong>les</strong><strong>ver</strong>s ont été collectées et triées selon <strong>les</strong> métho<strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> décrites précé<strong>de</strong>mment (cf. Matériel etMétho<strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong>). Aucune différence significative n’a pas pu être notée entre <strong>les</strong>poids <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> turricu<strong>les</strong> <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> pots traités au plomb et <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> pots non traités dans le système SPV (sol<strong>plante</strong>-<strong>ver</strong>).Par ailleurs, en présence <strong>de</strong> Lantana camara la production <strong>de</strong> turricu<strong>les</strong> par <strong>les</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s estinférieure dans tous <strong>les</strong> traitements à ce que l’on observe en absence <strong>de</strong> <strong>plante</strong> (Tableau 8).Cependant si l’on ajoute <strong>les</strong> agrégats mixtes, on retrouve <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> chiffres voisins <strong>de</strong> ce qui estobservé dans <strong>les</strong> pots sans <strong>plante</strong>. Il est donc probable que la diminution observée du poids<strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> structures produites par <strong>les</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s soit plus due à une difficulté technique <strong>de</strong> différenciation<strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> structures qu’à une baisse d’activité <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong> <strong>ver</strong>s.50
