<strong>Talajtani</strong> Vándorgyűlés, Sopron, 2006. augusztus 23-25.SummaryMore than 3500 producer in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County volunteered for theparticipation in the agro-environmental-management program based on the NationalDevelopment Plan of Regions. On the farms receiving financial support, the intakemanagementhas to be based on soil examination made every five years. The frames andparameters of the examinations are determined by the certain programs, so in theintegrated and ecological production it is compulsory to identify the following 8 toxicelements: chrome, nickel, copper, zinc, arsine, cadmium, mercury, and lead. Theseelements, when getting into the living organs even in small quantities can cause acute orchronic health damage and intoxication.As advisors, based on examination results gained in accredited laboratories, for therequest of farmers we prepare intake-management plans adapted for the certain farms.During the evaluation of the provided measurement results, our task was to determinethe spatial situation of the examined toxic elements in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County.Based on the significant conformity of pedologic parameters, to make the evaluationeasier, we determined following five regions: South-Nyírség, North-Nyírség, Rétköz,Szatmár and Bereg.The laboratory examination of the soil samples is even currently in progress. The sofar processed data give the following results: in the sand physical type soils in theNyírség and in the Rétköz the quantity of copper, arsine, lead, chrome, and zinc is in thelower tierce of the limiting value allowed by the decree, and nickel is under the meanvalue. On the hard soil of the Bereg and Szatmár regions, lead and copper shows verysimilar results as on the above mentioned sand soils, while nickel is close to the upperlegal limit. On the contrary, chrome, arsine, zinc in the measurement range showssignificant deviation in these regions. The examination results of mercury and cadmiumwith some exceptions are under the demonstrability level, that’s why these were left outfrom the evaluation.We intended to show the so far explored results to the expert public with theintention of turning the attention; however, it is not yet appropriate to draw reliableconsequences.
