4.1 TEST-BED MPLS PER LE MISURE OGGETTIVE DELLA<br />
QUALITA’ DEL SERVIZIO.<br />
4.1.1 Struttura <strong>del</strong> test-<strong>bed</strong><br />
Al f<strong>in</strong>e di valutare il comportamento <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> tecnica E-LSP 12 <strong>del</strong>l’ approccio<br />
“DiffServ over MPLS” è stato implementato un test-<strong>bed</strong> s<strong>per</strong>imentale. Il test-<strong>bed</strong><br />
realizzato <strong>in</strong> col<strong>la</strong>borazione con l’ISCOM (Istituto Su<strong>per</strong>iore <strong>del</strong>le<br />
Comunicazioni) è rappresentato <strong>in</strong> figura e prevede <strong>la</strong> col<strong>la</strong>borazione di tre<br />
<strong>la</strong>boratori dist<strong>in</strong>ti:<br />
• Trasmissioni <strong>ottiche</strong> (ufficio III ISCOM)<br />
• Valutazione <strong>del</strong><strong>la</strong> QoS multimediale (ufficio IV ISCOM)<br />
• Reti <strong>ottiche</strong> d<strong>in</strong>amiche (primo piano ISCOM)<br />
Tra i <strong>la</strong>boratori è stato creato un collegamento ad hoc <strong>in</strong> fibra ottica multimodale.<br />
Laboratorio trasmissioni <strong>ottiche</strong>.<br />
In questo <strong>la</strong>boratorio è attestato un collegamento all’anello ottico Roma-Pomezia;<br />
il l<strong>in</strong>k che collega <strong>in</strong> anello Roma e Pomezia è lungo 24 Km “one way” ed è<br />
costituito da 80 fibre di cui 30 ds (dis<strong>per</strong>sion shifted) 20 nzd (non zero dis<strong>per</strong>sion)<br />
e 30 sf.<br />
A questo l<strong>in</strong>k ottico sotto test sono connessi i due Router Juni<strong>per</strong> M10.<br />
12 Ex<strong>per</strong>imental bit Inferred LSP: Viene utilizzato il campo EXP <strong>del</strong>lo shim header come<br />
sostituto <strong>del</strong> campo DSCP <strong>per</strong> portare l’<strong>in</strong>formazione <strong>del</strong> DSCP all’<strong>in</strong>terno <strong>del</strong> dom<strong>in</strong>io MPLS.
