Note
Quattro sono le forme di base alle quali si possono ricondurre tutte le bottiglie di vino: la
Bordolese (Vernaccia, Rosato del Salento, Chateau d’Yquem…), la Borgognona (Chablis,
Montrachet, Cortese dei Gavi…), la Renana (Tocai, Riesling renano, Gewuertzstraminer,
Johannisberg…) e la Champagne. Per contenere e raffreddare fino al collo queste differenti
forme la ricerca di Gozzi ha proposto due diversi Rinfrescatori, caratterizzati dalla grande
attenzione ai dettagli funzionali. Il corpo è a spessore differenziato: più spesso sul fondo e sul
bordo così da evitare bollature; i manici sono stati studiati per permettere (insieme al bordo,
interamente “bordato”) una perfetta presa anche con una sola mano; la capienza è di due
bottiglie; la profondità consente di tenere immerse le bottiglie in tutta la loro altezza utile;
infine, sono impilabili. Questo Rinfrescatore è adatto per contenere due Bordolesi o due
Borgognone o due Champagne, mentre il seguente (art. 5052/RM) può contenere due
bottiglie della forma Renana oppure una Magnum.
There are four basic shapes for all wine bottles: Bordeaux (Vernaccia, Salento rosé, Chateau
d’Yquem...), Burgundy (Chablis, Montrachet, Cortese dei Gavi...), Rhine (Tocai, Riesling,
Gewuertzstraminer, Johannisberg…) and Champagne. To contain and cool these different
shapes up to the neck, Gozzi’s research came up
with two different Coolers, which both
demonstrate his very close attention to
practical use. The body is of different thicknesses:
thicker at the bottom and on the edge in order
to avoid dents. The handles have been studied
(together with the edges, which are fully lined)
to ensure a perfect grip with a single hand; it
holds two bottles; its depth means the bottles
can be immersed right up to the neck; lastly,
they can be stacked. This Cooler is suitable for
two Bordeaux or two Burgundy or two Champagne bottles, while the next one (5052/RM)
can contain two Rhine-wine bottles or one Magnum.
