Bijlage 6Wetenschappelijke onderbouwingDe aanbevelingen uit deze richtlijn zijn voor zover mogelijk gebaseerd op bewijs uit gepubliceerdwetenschappelijk onderzoek. Relevante artikelen werden gezocht door het verrichten van systematischezoekacties in de Cochrane Library, Medline, Embase en Cinahl en waar nodig ook in Psychinfo. Hierbij werd detaal gelimiteerd tot Engels, Duits, Frans en Nederlands. Daarnaast werden handmatige zoekacties verricht. Erwerd gezocht vanaf 1996 tot en met juni 2008. Als trefwoorden voor de patiëntenpopulatie werden gebruikt:neoplasms / cancer,/ tumor/ tumour/ carcinoma/ malignancy, gecombineerd met de stam ovar*, allen als vrijtekstwoord. Verder werd gezocht met vrije tekstwoorden specifiek voor de deelvraag.
