“Looking back to find our future”.<br />
This is the title of the special collection produced by<br />
<strong>Greenland</strong>ic designer Bibi Chemnitz <strong>for</strong> the Nordic Fashion<br />
Biennale in Se<strong>at</strong>tle in the USA. She elected to ba<strong>se</strong> <strong>her</strong> collection<br />
on old pictures and drawings from all over <strong>Greenland</strong>,<br />
t<strong>her</strong>eby following a familiar p<strong>at</strong>h.<br />
Throughout <strong>her</strong> career, Bibi Chemnitz has u<strong>se</strong>d <strong>her</strong> <strong>Greenland</strong>ic<br />
background as a source of inspir<strong>at</strong>ion in <strong>her</strong> design of modern<br />
clothes with a global look. Her collections are now sold in<br />
countries such as Japan, USA, Germany, Denmark, France, Italy<br />
and, of cour<strong>se</strong>, <strong>Greenland</strong> w<strong>her</strong>e she has a show in Narsaq this<br />
summer.<br />
