About the Student
Selena Zhang is a 15-year-old 11th grader. Her parents speak " 闽 南 语 " to her. She began learning
Mandarin at the age of 7 at a Chinese weekend school and continued taking Chinese classes as a
world language course since the 9th grade. She also has a passion for drawing.
