In this section, a cost comparison is provided for expected typical discovery sizes for each region. The UK and Norway
are split into a number of sectors due to their size and diversity.
The Danish and Dutch sectors have much narrower expected reserves ranges than Norway and the UK, as the latter two
still have highly underexplored frontier regions. Discoveries in Denmark and The Netherlands can be developed at low
cost as they are likely located near existing infrastructure, and shallow water conditions allow for much simpler
development solutions. In the following chart, we show typical medium size discoveries and their expected relative
development and operating cost.
