In the wake of the digital switchover and new media activities DR is facing newchallenges. One of these challenges is how to ascribe new meaning and content to theconcept of public service when realizing that one of the consequences of the digitalswitchover is that the problems of the past with a limited number of broadcastingfrequencies no longer exist.
