DIE MAUER –
DAS ASISI-PANORAMA
ZUM GETEILTEN BERLIN
Ab 22. September kann man
am Checkpoint Charlie die
Mauer wieder sehen, als großes
Panoramabild (18 Meter hoch,
28 Meter Durchmesser). Für alle,
die noch nicht alle Klischees zum
Thema Mauer kennen – die anderen
müssen noch bis mindestens 2015
warten. Falls die Kalten Krieger der
Berliner CDU es nicht verhindern
soll hier das Museum des Kalten
Krieges eröffnen.
On September 22nd, the wall will be
raised once more at Checkpoint Charlie,
if only in the shape of a massive
panorama landscape (18 meters tall
and 28 meters in diameter). For those
who haven’t experienced every last
Berlin Wall cliché – the rest may have
to wait until at least 2015. Barring that
our Berliner CDU cold war-riors manage
to block the Cold War Museum
from ever opening here.

using organic meats. These recipes
are noticeably different from the typically
europeanized versions we so
often come across. The culinary focus
stems from the region of Isaan
(located in the north-east of Thailand)
and Bangkok. Herbs, spices
and vegetables are flown in twice a
week from Thailand. The food is served
in a sleek and stylish ambience.
We are certain they have succeeded
in capturing the fine line between
authenticity and assimilation. The
fondue thai / thai sukiyaki is a real
treat but it’s only offered at the Papaya
at Kleistpark.
