Occupation: Retired
Experience Pertinent to Position: I have been a Lutheran for practically my
entire life and a member of an LCMS congregation since 1986. I have over 40
years experience in leadership/management positions. I have held the offices
of president, vice president and/or secretary of my past and current
Timothy M. Holt
Home Congregation: Our Savior Lutheran, Palm Springs, CA
Occupation: Architect
Experience Pertinent to Position: My heartfelt connection to our Lord’s church
began at an early age as I have vivid memories of growing up in a church that my
been gifted and equipped to perform various leadership roles. As an architect with 40+ years of
experience, I have designed more than 100 church-related projects. I’ve served as Chairman of Our
Saviors Church for 12+ years, currently as chair of the Board of Lay Elders and lead the Men’s
Ministry. I am also a member of the Architectural Review Board in my hometown of Rancho Mirage
and serve as consultant to the Building Committee for the Roman Catholic Diocese of San
Bernardino. I am principal of my firm, Holt Architects.
My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: I believe the PSD is uniquely positioned to forward the
Lord’s mission among out District Churches. My vision included exploring creative ways to expand
His kingdom in this region while respecting our values and Christian heritage.
