Experience Pertinent to Position: I have written or re-written constitutions and
/or by-laws for several not-for-profits, including two LCMS congregations. For
dozens of my clients, I have designed or re-designed their organizational structure.
I understand the needs and the requirements of the district and synod having
served as a delegate for three synodical conventions.
My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: Constitutions and By-laws help insure that a ministry is
conducting in good order, faithful to scripture, the civil regulations and LCMS polity. Congregations
should receive timely and appropriate feedback on both questions and documents submitted for
review.

My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: Having had the opportunity to work with many of our
congregations over the last three years, I have seen the desire to spread the Gospel message to their
communities. New ideas, such as the Transforming Churches Network, are enabling congregations
to do just that. I hope to continue to work with congregations to allow them to focus their energies
on evangelism rather than governance.

My Vision for the ministry of the University: That we encourage & support one another in the
glorious ministry given to us by the Lord Jesus Christ who has given us His Spirit to make disciples
by the preaching of the gospel and making proper use of the sacraments and instruction everyone in
the teaching of the scriptures.
