Board of Directors Lay Member Region 4 Dale Brinkman Home Congregation: Risen Savior Lutheran, Chandler, AZ Occupation: Semi-retired / Part-time Software Consultant Experience Pertinent to Position: I am a lifelong member of the LCMS, having held parish volunteer positions of Youth Director, Counter, Sound System Technician, and Small Group Leader. I have held elected positions of Elder, Stewardship, Vice President, and Finance. For the past 33 years, I have been a member of Christ, Costa Mesa; St. John's, Orange; and Risen Savior, Chandler, within the PSD. My education includes a BS in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University; graduate school in Biomedical Engineering at UW, Madison; and an MBA from Pepperdine University. I worked for 17 years in R&D and management positions at various medical equipment companies prior to launching and operating a software company for 13 years, selling it in 2003. My wife and I moved to Arizona in 2006 where we enjoy semi-retirement while I continue to work part-time from home as a software consultant. I am detail oriented and dedicated. My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: Our risen Savior has placed nearly 40 million souls at the doorsteps of our parishes in the PSD and has commanded us to "go therefore and make 139

My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: To effectively advance Jesus Christ’s mission by acting in support of and on behalf of district congregations and school by providing financial support, guidance and encouragement, while fostering a closer relationship between the district and the congregations and schools we serve. We compete successfully with companies the size of IBM and CSC. Over the last 25 years of competing with companies we have developed a mindset of using technology to leverage our position. Using Date Mining Techniques we are rapidly able to ID trends and take advantage before our competition. My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: By using the techniques learned competing with larger companies, I envision using unconventional methods to extend God’s Kingdom here in the PSD. Julian L.
