My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: I encourage all of our churches and pastors in the Pacific<br />
Southwest District, and the LC-MS as a whole to focus more and more on the astonishing love and<br />
mercy that we have been given in Christ Jesus. I encourage our churches and pastors to bear each<br />
other's burdens in brotherly love and encouragement to the glory of Christ until He returns. Let us<br />
set aside all that hinders, all pettiness and selfishness that distracts us from the work of Christ and<br />
His grace for all sinners. May we be of a single mind and that being proclaiming Christ to all of<br />
creation in thought, Word and deed.<br />

My Vision for the ministry of the PSD: That the District continue to faithfully proclaim the<br />
gospel while finding ways to be relational in the culture around us. And, that we find new ways to<br />
reach the unchurhed of the Southwest in diverse settings in a new economy and changing<br />
circumstances of our world and nation.<br />

My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: That through their respective<br />
vocations, both the Pastors and Laity of the PSW would work boldly to declare, defend and confess<br />
the faith once and for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3), to foster a thriving Lutheran ethos among<br />
our churches by means of the historic Christian faith and the rich liturgical heritage of the Church<br />
that through clear witness and caring service we might teach the faithful, reach the lost and care for<br />
all.<br />
