TERM LIMITS - 01<br />
To Limit the Terms of All District Officers<br />
WHEREAS, current Bylaw 1.35 states “The<br />
offices of president, the first vice president,<br />
the secretary, and the treasurer of the district<br />
shall be without limitation as to reelection”;<br />
and<br />
WHEREAS, it is good to have new people<br />
elected and new ideas introduced into the<br />
district; and<br />
WHEREAS, all of the other elected positions<br />
of the district are limited to three successive<br />
terms (Bylaw 1.36); therefore be it<br />
RESOLVED, that the offices of president,<br />
the first vice president, the secretary, and the<br />
treasurer of the district be limited to three<br />
successive terms; and be it finally<br />
RESOLVED, that Bylaw 1.34 limiting each<br />
term to three years be retained.<br />

TERM LIMITS - 02<br />
TO ADOPT TERM LIMITS FOR THE<br />
DISTRICT PRESIDENT AND FIRST<br />
VICE-PRESIDENTS<br />
Whereas, the Lord has graciously granted<br />
many and various gifts to the pastors within<br />
our District; and<br />
Whereas, there are many Pastors within the<br />
District are well qualified to serve as District<br />
President or First Vice-President; therefore<br />
Be it Resolved that the Pacific Southwest<br />
District, in <strong>Convention</strong>, impose term limits<br />
upon those serving as District President and<br />
First Vice-President to three terms of 3-years<br />
each; and<br />
Be it Resolved, that these term limits begin<br />
with the election of the next District<br />
President; and<br />
Be it Finally Resolved, that the Pastors of<br />
the Pacific Southwest District give thanks to<br />
God for the ministry that we share together.<br />
