Experience Pertinent to Position: I served on the board for the Association of<br />
Lutheran Secondary Schools for four years, chairing that board for two of those<br />
years. I have served on the Board of Directors for the Pacific Southwest District for<br />
the past three years. I have served as an adjunct faculty member for Concordia<br />
University, Wisconsin for the past fifteen years teaching Leadership and Organizational Behavior in<br />
Concordia’s online MBA program.<br />
My Vision for the ministry of the University: I envision Concordia to be a place that seeks both<br />
time tested and innovative ways to depopulate hell while preparing its graduates to lead and serve<br />
others. Digital age skills (e.g. collaboration, creativity, real world problem solving) will be<br />
incorporated into the learning environment. Concordia has a proud history upon which continuing<br />
expansion and excellence will be built. Ultimately, my vision for Concordia is that it will be the<br />
Christian university that others can only dream about.<br />
