To Publish in Print Full Financial
Disclosure of the District Finances Yearly
WHEREAS, Jesus stated clearly that
whenever He spoke, He spoke nothing in
secret (John 18:20); and
WHEREAS, over two thirds of district
financial support comes from the local
congregations; and
WHEREAS, there should be no hidden
secrets concerning the financial position of
our district from its congregations; and
WHEREAS, good financial information can
only help our congregations to see the real
needs of the district and give them an
opportunity to respond with financial support;
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the District President and
the Board of Directors publish, report and
send to every congregation and pastor an
audited copy of district financials every
March; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the District President
present to the Fall Pastors’ Conference a full
financial report; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that full financial disclosure be
the practice of our district on a yearly basis.

To Publish annually the financial report of
the District
WHEREAS, good financial reporting can
help District’s congregations understand the
real needs of the district; and
WHEREAS, congregations supply two-thirds
of District financial support (Budget Report,
Pacific Southwest District, January 2012); and
WHEREAS, the true financial report of
district finances is only officially published
every three years at District Convention; and
WHEREAS, rumor, innuendo, mistrust and
accusations regarding District finances tend to
arise out of a lack of clear and open reporting;
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the District Board of
Directors publish and report on District
financials to District congregations and
Pastors annually; and be it finally
RESOLVED, that an accurate financial report
be given annually to the Pastors at the Fall
Pastors’ Conference as part of the District
President’s report.
