Occupation: Pastor – Part time (retired)
Experience Pertinent to Position: I have been blessed to serve as parish pastor
for over 20 years in Kansas, Illinois and Colorado. From 1994-1999 I served as
director of Synod’s Evangelism Department. From 1999 to 2009 I served as
Mission Facilitator of the PSD. My experience in all these areas has given me a
broad vision for our church’s ministry.
My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: To effectively resource congregations and schools to
fulfill the Great Commission.

Occupation: Special Assistant to President—Concordia University, Irvine
Experience Pertinent to Position: Have served 2 times on Synodical Nominating
Committee – Served as Chairman for the 2001 Synodical Convention.
My Vision for the ministry of the PSW: In these difficult and challenging
times, to be faithful in doctrine and practice while energetically pursing the Mission our Lord has
given to the church.
