by 74.6% and 17.3% respectively. In 2001, total imports were worth more than $195 billion,<br />
and total exports reached $44.6 billion. The Figure 5-8 shows the estimated value of imports<br />
and exports for major <strong>California</strong> ports from 1992 to 2001.<br />

locations in the US and major ports all over the world, with an estimated cargo value of $200<br />
billion in 2001. The estimated value of imports and exports of combined Los Angeles and<br />
