cultivars at all locations, some of the investigated cultivars have responded in a specific
manner regarding to the trial locations. In average over all locations and mostly on each
location the lowest grain yield was found for cultivar Divana (5.634 t ha -1 ). The highest
test weight at all locations was achieved by cultivar Lela. The highest thousand kernel
weight was found for cultivar Ilirija and then for cultivars Mihaela, Renata, Tihana and
Zitarka. The lowest test weight and thousand kernel weight was recorded for cultivars
Sana and Vulkan, respectively. According to protein content and sedimentation value
of flour in first quality class were aligned cultivars Divana, Zitarka, Olimpija, Golubica,
Ruzica, Mihaela and Ilirija, while all other cultivars reached second quality class. Gluten
index was varied from 93.2 for cultivar Zitarka to 99.7 for cultivar Alka. The lowest falling
number was achieved by cultivar Sana (161), while the highest was obtained with cultivar
Mihaela (400). In average per cultivar, wet gluten content was varied from 20.0 % for cultivar
Jana to 30.1 % for cultivar Olimpija. Results of this research are providing valuable
information about winter wheat cultivars reaction in different Croatian agro-productive
environments and pointed out their adaptability regarding to important agronomic and
quality traits.
Key words: yield, quality, wheat cultivars, environments.
