• Strip the external jacket <strong>and</strong> the<br />
2.4mm fiber jacket. Strip of the<br />
insulation of the fibers according<br />
to the instructions of the<br />
manufacturer<br />
Gluing<br />
• Insert the glue inside the contact<br />
using a syringe.<br />
• Insert the fiber into the contact<br />
<strong>and</strong> protect the exceed fiber with<br />
a cap.<br />
• - Polymerize (cure) the glue.<br />

NOTE: For POF, if you wish a quick installation <strong>and</strong> if the optical budget can accept<br />
higher insertion loss, the gluing <strong>and</strong> polishing step can be replaced by a cutting<br />
step.<br />
