Advanced functions for KVM switches<br />
How to import the EDID profile of a monitor from a file:<br />
1. Use the tree view to click on KVM switches > [All switches].<br />
2. Right-click the KVM switch and click the <strong>Config</strong>uration entry in the context menu.<br />
3. Click the Channels tab.<br />
4. Click New EDID profile.<br />
5. Click Search.<br />
6. Use the file dialog to choose the bin file to be imported and click Ok.<br />
NOTE: The Name and Comment fields of the profile are already filled in, and the<br />
EDID information are shown.<br />
7. If necessary change the Name and/or Comment.<br />
8. Click OK to save your settings.<br />
Defining the EDID profile for a channel<br />
How to choose the EDID profile:<br />
ADVICE: If you want to enable an EDID profile for all channels, first choose the<br />
desired profile for channel 1 as described below and click All.<br />
1. Use the tree view to click on KVM switches > [All switches].<br />
2. Right-click the KVM switch and click the <strong>Config</strong>uration entry in the context menu.<br />
3. Click the Channels tab.<br />
4. Use the EDID x field of the desired channel to choose between the following<br />
options:<br />
[Auto]: treats EDID data automatically (default)<br />
[Barco PVS]: special mode for graphics cards of the Barco PVS series<br />
Profile<br />
name:<br />
chooses an EDID profile which has been imported by the user<br />
NOTE: A separate EDID profile (EDID 1 and EDID 2, for example) can be chosen<br />
for each video channel of a multi-channel device.<br />
5. Click OK to save your settings.<br />
