Very blue gr<strong>as</strong>s, to 18” tall x 18” wide. A native <strong>of</strong> e<strong>as</strong>tern North America, this is a perennial gr<strong>as</strong>s going to<br />

ground after turning a nice, orangey red in autumn, returning in spring. Likes well-drained soil and summer<br />

heat WITH humidity. Flowers in late summer with feathery plumes. Sun and regular summer water. Frost<br />

hardy in <strong>USDA</strong> <strong>zone</strong> 3.<br />

A very lush groundcover, to only 6" tall and spreading to up to 12", perfect for the sunny rock garden or <strong>as</strong> a<br />
