Work With Users Task Variations If you are establishing service request and design request subset values for this user, perform the following tasks from the Work with Users Profiles panel. To establish subset criteria for the user: 1. Type 6 in the Opt field next to the user and press ENTER to display the Subset Design Requests panel, or type 7 in the Opt field next to the user and press ENTER to display the Subset Service Requests panel. Note: The subset criteria established here is initially used when you run the Print Service Request Standard Reports (DTPRTSR), Print Design Request Standard Reports (DTPRTDR), Service Request Summary Reports (DTPRTSRM) and Design Request Summary Reports (DTPRTDRM) functions. The default criteria can be changed if the Maintain subset default field in the User Profile function is set to 1 (Yes). 2. Specify the required subset criteria, or accept the default values (*ALL). Press PAGEDOWN to access the second subset panel. Note: The first time this panel is accessed, the values that display automatically default to the values entered for the individual user in the Work with User Profiles function. To change the defaults, clear the fields to set to *ALL, or enter another value. 3. Specify additional subset criteria or accept the defaults. 4. The Automatic prompt on subset field determines if the corresponding subset panel automatically displays each time the Work with Service Requests and Design Requests functions are accessed. Depending on how the Maintain subset values field in Change User Profile is set, the following can be true: Maintain subset Values = 1 (Yes) and Automatic prompt on subset = 1 (Yes): The subset panel automatically displays each time the user selects the Work with Service Requests and/or Design Request functions. User can select new subset criteria or accept the defaults. The F17=Subset function can also be selected from the Work with Service Requests or Work with Design Requests selection panels to display and maintain the corresponding subset panels. Maintain subset Values = 0 (No) and Automatic prompt on subset = 1 (Yes): The subset panel automatically displays each time the user selects the Work with Service Requests and/or Design Request functions. The user can view but not maintain the displayed subset criteria. The F17=Subset function can also be selected from the Work with Service Requests or Work with Design Requests selection panels to display (but not maintain) the corresponding subset panels.
